the silverbell budded beautifully this year, but then a major trunk suffered wilting of unknown origin. I removed the dead branches. i saw no sign of pest or disease. anybody know what it might be?

The silverbell is pretty but Luna is beautifullllll!!!! Not sure what the wilt is from though.

What a poser Luna is :) This is a beautiful photo. I love the close-up too.
Layanee of Ledge and Gardens (you'll find her link on the sidebar of my blog) has a Silverbell and seems to know a lot about plants. Perhaps she would know what causes the wilt.
