BLUE BLOOMERS

i love blue flowers and have a few blooming now, like dwarf iris...camassia...variegated brunnera...
columbine that my mother gave me...
veronica waterperrry (my favorite veronica)
here's a clump of them...
bluebells...
and the very weedy bugloss my brother gave me!

Your blue collection is great. I have a few of them myself and blue is also my favorite color in the spring. I love it combined with yellow.

I haven't heard of this Veronica before - the flowers resemble V. whitleyi. I'd love to have some Camassia appear like magic in my garden.

My forget-me-nots have just begun to bloom (so sweet) and I'm waiting anxiously for the Jack Frost Brunnera to flower...I just planted it last year.
Your Veronica looks just like the Birdseye Speedwell that grows wild around here. Is yours the wild version, or a cultivar?

I just looked at the photo again and see the your Veronica is a named cultivar and has a bigger flower than the wild version. It's gorgeous!

kerri, the flowers are about the diameter of a pencil eraser, like so many miniature flowers i love. i have trouble getting true forget me nots to survive in my soil. hence brunnera, etc. thanks for the comment!
