what i like about redbuds is that they flower from the bark; here is the base of mine...

I love your white redbud. That is really pretty. I have a small red one that I planted a few years ago. It blooms a few blooms each year but hopefully in a few years it will be big and beautiful!!! Interesting how they bloom!
They may be tiny blooms, but they are indeed lovely, even if miniscule.
