i planted m. daybreak just last year, and here it is blooming with flowers about as tall as my hand...what's pretty about daybreak is the multiple greens and pinks in the flowers...
here is my little daybreak... camellia spring promise, which i didn't get around to posting last weekcamellia april dawn, one of my favoritesleonard messel is just done blooming, but the top looked very pretty today...
Em, the magnolias are so glorious. I can't believe the size of those blooms! I love all the different daffs...so pretty. And oh, you have camellias! Lucky you! Are they hardy down there? We saw one like your pink at the BBG and I was surprised.
kerri, thanks. only the new cold hardy camellias survive here, but they don't really thrive. i've had the dark pink one for almost 10 years, and it is about 2 feet tall, though the deer really do eat that one. the striped one has only been in my garden for a year. thanks for the comment!
