DAY OF REST

since it is rainy today, hubs and i decided to rest.  here's what's happening at gardenfool's...
tree peony; note droplet bridge spanning two leaves...
turkey tail mushrooms on log...
 viburnum 'dawn' brightens the day...
a found shard with decorates a broken pot...
dwarf daffs beaded with rain...
epimedium stems collect water...
and daffodils bow like so many ballerinas...

I love photos showing droplets of rain on plants. The plants look as though they are encrusted in diamonds. Great photos.

It's pouring rain here tonight. I love the sound of rain on the roof...as long as it doesn't go on too long :)
Your photos are inspiringly beautiful..as always.
Those beads of water are gorgeous, and the droplet bridge is so neat!
You have me wishing for a tree peony, viburnum 'Dawn', dwarf daffs and epimediums. I hope you're happy with yourself. Thank you very much! ;)
Does the viburnum have lots of flowers, and then berries in the fall? I just read that you need a second plant in the same species to get more berries. Do you have one or 2 plants?

keewee, thanks for the comment!

kerri, ah, we need the good long soak in april! i have several viburnums of differing types, but i don't get berries, and i'm not sure why. perhaps i do not have the right kinds together. epimediums are a great shade plant, easy to grow and daintily pretty. thanks for the comment!
