LICHEN & BUNNY

can't think of a unifying theme today... various things... here's a leaf for sohpie munns...rain beads on a lichen i saw in the woods today very magnified...
bun we spotted trying to break into the potager, i was 10 feet away when i took this...
buh-bye, bunnie...
the potager, which is still producing nicely...
saturday's harvest... the squash is 'fordhook' acorn, a rare variety. i made a soup yesterday, and found the flavor unremarkable, but the texture is pretty good. maybe it will develop better flavor if i let the fruits age more...
gotta have another spider web photo...
bat-winged begonia blooming in the rain... notice how tiny the pot is...
finches enjoy the sunflower seeds...

And here you were going on about my straight carrots. Look at yours ! They're lovely. Beautiful harvest.
Was that buh-bye bunny as in bang-bang pow-pow ?
Never tire of spider web shots. Lovely.
Oh, em, I never tire of looking at your potager, either. I could look at it for hours ... the back fence is a veritable jungle !

Your veggies are lovely. Most squash tastes better after it cures awhile... I leave mine on the vine until after frost.
Love the spider web photo!

Love this post of yours, your pics are amazing, love the first two very very much.

Cute bunny, but I absolutely adore your lush potager. Happy munching on all the goodies from your potager!

miss m, ah, they are straight, but not very large. the bunny was scared away by my approach. thanks for the lovely comments!

sophie, thanks! sounds like it would be a chore to grow edible things in your dry climate!

connie, thanks, i will let these cure more. we had one cold night and they all got a bit darker, so maybe that's the ticket.

ye, thanks! i'm having fun with the camera still...
