this daylily escaped the deer fencing and bloomed. daylilies are the deer's favorite food, so i fence them in.

I've never seen a day lily with such a strikingly intense color. Is the photo color accurate?
yes, but it was lit with a flash, which perhaps would have a bluer light than sunlight. positively grapey!
