SNOWY VALENTINE

dombeya has really put on a show this year just in time for valentines day...these photos are from 7am the morning after our big snowfall, before the sun stole the snow from the branches...

grilling, anyone?
yesterday, this young lady came to visit across the street from us... i did not use the telephoto...

i guess i was just too close, maybe 15 feet away. check out the camouflage!

Oh wow, amazing deer shots ! Remarkably, I live in a rural setting and don't get to see them half as often as you do. They stick to the woods around here.

You certainly got plenty of snow this year. Wednesday's storm was probably the last though and I'm guessing is all gone now ?

miss m, thanks for the comment. the snow is still there and we expect another 3-6 inches tomorrow night! feb is usually our snowiest month. the deer here have no sense, as they are not hunted (legally, anyway!)

That glorious pink flower is perfect for Valentine's Day!
I don't think you'll be grilling any time soon :)
That young lady posed very nicely for you. They sure are pretty things. Too bad they're such a nuisance.
