someone has been making masterful rock sculptures in the local woods for a while now...
i took this with my phone, went back with the camera an hour later, and it was knocked down...
this one looks like a pregnant woman on the left...
and another person on the right touching her baby...
this one made me think of rock lace, with its cantilever and delicate arch...
the simple, elegant balance of this sculpture was arresting.
many people make simple rock trail markers, and i don't know how many people make these... but at least one is very talented...

Fantastic to come across these Em!
I agree ... they are really wonderful. And just in the woods like that...
finger limes.... google them... that colourful pretty caviar looking substance is what's inside theses wonderful natives form this regions where I live. Chefs round the world are clammering for them and hardly anywhere here has even seen them!
They are delicious as well as appealing in looks... they are a lower storey rainforest plant.

I just love those trail markers, I left one on a remote trail in Sedona, wonder how long it lasted. I keep hearing that Brandywines have the taste I want, so next year I'll definitely try them.
Some of these sculptures look like Rorcharch tests. You getting empty nest syndrome with Danielle out of the house?
