THANKSGIVING

happy thanksgiving to everyone! i made this arrangement today with flowers from the potager:sunset the other day...
we have not yet had a hard frost. i did trim the dwarf spruce for eventual holiday lighting...
the bald cypress is one of the few deciduous trees still cloaked with leaves...
this little enkianthus is always a startling scarlet.

You're lucky to still have so many pretty blooms making such a nice display in the potager. Those Marigolds are still going strong! I noticed that your lows (or at least Brooklyn's) are going to be in the low 30's these next few days. That getting pretty frosty!
But you've had several more weeks grace than us, and that's a blessing. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I began this comment right after posting the first one but got sidetracked :)
My Hoya has no fragrance unfortunately, but the flowers sure are beautiful.
What sort of challenge or project might you have in mind? Hmmmm....

Still quite a bit of colour in your garden Em... Amazing to think that it will be covered snow next month... or is that not always the case around xmas?
Hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving.
