the azalea on the left was here when we bought the house... the flowers are like a painting...
more entrance garden with sage, thyme, deutzia, veronica 'water perry' and salvia.
rose bud "heritage" also in the entrance garden...

a really nice enkianthus i bought a few years back...
the wild north garden...
with montana daisies...
this little path is on the south side of our house. the azalea you can see in the distance is in the potager entrance garden.
a close up of the mountain laurel 'pinwheel'...
Wow...... I am impressed. Your garden is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo much is happening in the garden Em. It must be uplifting to visit now -esp after not being 100% of late...at least the garden is coming along beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are too now!
Lovely shot of the azelea - sp painterly and I must say a beautifully composed image my friend!
Enkianthus are new to me - the montana daisy is a shot of colour. Do you have everlasting daisies in the US - those ones that are papery and fade perhaps but last for ages if picked and dried for the vase.
Pinwheel is a sight.., and i do love the view from the south side of the house...so lush looking and layered and alluring!
Have a great week...

ReplyDeletesophie, i am better, thanks! i'm working on that composition thing, so thanks! you know, i think that "montana" daisy has another name and i'm mistaken. we do have straw flowers here like that, i haven't grown them for years. thanks for all the comments!
