MID-APRIL SNOW

at least it was only this much... temp was 27f...

the daffs hid their faces on the ground

i was amending the soil in the potager the day before...
you can see the nectarine trees in bloom... 
the flowers survived...

snow is a new backdrop for m. leonard messel

10 days later in the potager... 

all ready to be planted, pansies in place...

  1. That snow was quite a shock here too, and just like there, only lasted a few hours. Within days, it was 80 degrees! No damage here, but the same can't be said for the rough winter. It really did a number on my garden. Grrrr!
