why have i been too busy to post?
(clematis 'kingfisher')
not because the flowers have stopped blooming...
no, because of 3 yards of sweet peet mulch! with rain the day it was delivered, i really had my work cut out for me...
above is the potager before mulch, below is after...
and the potager this evening...
vase with bi-color deutzia, allium and peonies...
rock wall before mulch....
and after...
south border before mulch...
and after...
and there's still more left! yikes!
below is vase with rose 'heritage', my favorite...
You've been hard at work and your gardens and flowers are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week ~ FlowerLady
Good work! And I sure understand all that hard work. We just had a patio installed, and it was completed on a Tuesday. By Saturday, we had dug out all the grass, hauled four yards of dirt, moved countless plants, planted all the new shrubs and plants, and mulched the new areas. Whew! Totally worth it though, right?
ReplyDeleteIts looking truly fabulous Em... all that hard work with exquisite results! I can see you have pushed through to enliven the soil, reorganise everything and have it bursting into life for summer!
ReplyDeleteI'm daydreaming about growing things at my new home that we move into in three weeks... for now I am in limbo... a temporary nomad. Making it our home and establishing the studio will be a long project but very satisfying one at that!
Enjoy your summer celebrations Em!
