our town held it's small memorial day parade yesterday...
this great dane is a member of the "ecad", more on that later...
veterans of all ages...
women's auxiliary member...
these ladies look sharp...

the police emerald society of weschester... very sharp...
with probably the most photogenic boy in westchester...
more revelers... wonderful "when the saints come marching in" rendition...
they were ahead of our volunteer fire department, with the most handsome firefighter right in the middle...
the entirety of our volunteers and trucks, except the new ladder is not pictured (but it is in earlier posts)

Wow! You actually have veterans in your Memorial Day parade. Ours is just phalanxes of police of all varieties. State, County, Local. It looks more like a Russian May Day parade; quite intimidating.
I skip the parade and use the opportunity to speed all around the neighborhood in peace.
