happened to be in the office today where we gathered around the watering hole...mr. house finch stayed quite a while... well, for him... mr. sparrow is ever so bold... suddenly the leaves are dropping off the trees and it makes one thirsty...
I'm with Sophie.... beautiful images! Coincidentally i just went to photograph some baby willy wagtails in their nest only to find they were off on a flying lesson
Em, these photos are fabulous! I especially love the first one - great colors and funny expressions. It's a perfect photo for a caption :) I love the finches but don't like the agressive male house sparrows. The females are much nicer natured and more polite :) Your birdbath is gorgeous. Looks like it's ceramic (right?) and that blue glaze is such a lovely color.
what heavenly images Em... and the header...fabuloso!
ReplyDeletehave a great week...Im on blog vacation ...sort of...did sneak i last night for a bit!

Wow! Sophie's right--these are simply gorgeous! The teal of the water with the soft greys, taupes and crimson feathers! Thank you, thank you!
ReplyDeleteSuch charming little birdies! I am so bad about keeping the bird bath full once cold weather hits. I don't like dragging out the hose, lazy me.
