I've been trying to photograph a frittilary but they're too fast for me. Good for you capturing this one. I've seen some pretty tattered butterflies too. Poor things. I've been about to take a photo of one and a cat (at my feet) will pounce on it. I've saved a few butterflies :) Naughty cats!
